GuardianshipWhat is included in the Eton Guardianship Programme
1. Depending on the category of guardianship chosen by the parents, we will undertake all or some of the following responsibilities:
2. Be a 24 hours point of contact for parents, students, schools and guardian families, liaising with educational institutions on behalf of the parents, including signing documents.
3. Be on call to visit in case of emergency.
4. Assist Keep you informed and consult on matters concerning your son or daughter.
5. Make appropriate arrangements for medical care.
6. Two visits per term from your Eton guardian followed by a full academic and welfare report. We send school reports home to the parents (if supplied by the education provider). We also regularly update parents on the students general well being and progress. These reports can be translated.
7. Monitor out of school activities.
8. Assist with GCSE, A level and University/College choices.
9. Visit school on parents' days with follow-up reports to parents and students.
10. Arranging accommodation during Christmas, Easter or Summer vacations if required
11. Assistance with travel and accommodation arrangements for visiting parents.
12. Assist students book airplane tickets to travel home during holiday periods if required
13. Safely transfer students to and from airports by an Eton driver; provide arrival notification and arrival report to parents including initial academic and welfare information.
14. Provide an excellent, hand-picked, host family fully checked out by the discerning Eton Team.
15. Assist students purchase a mobile phone or sim cards if required.
16. Assist the student open bank accounts and monitor pocket money used by your children if required.
17. Explain local laws and visa regulations to the students to ensure compliance
Not Included
- Flight tickets, taxi fares, train tickets : at cost
- Host family accommodation : ￡26 - ￡35 per night depending on location
- Additional/private 1:1 tuition at our Study Centre : ￡25 - ￡35 per hour
- Registration with the Police (if applicable) : ￡34 plus accompanying costs
- Examinations sat at our Exam Centre or externally
- Visa Advice (special rates for all Guardianship students)
Emergency Guardianship
At Eton guardianship we provide support and guidance at hand and liaise personally with parents and schools. We respond immediately to any crisis or emergency.
if your child is for any reasons, we can be required to arrange a suitable host family and find another school (if necessary), also assist with subsequent travel arrangements.

Arrange for the purchase and replacement of uniform items
Assist with purchase of mobile telephone and run telephone account
Assist with the set up a local bank account.
