Our Guardianship

Why choose our UK Eton Guardianship Programme?
Following the Children Act (1989), The Care Standards Act 2000 and The National Boarding Standards 2002, boarding schools in England require parents to appoint a guardian who can be available at all times to act for parents and respond to the needs of both the student and the school. The international student should enjoy the same freedom as the home student - that is, to be able to have a break from the school during exeat weekends. A student's educational experience in the UK is enhanced socially, culturally and linguistically by the opportunity to spend time with a welcoming family in a secure and friendly environment.
An Eton guardian will ensure that all the needs of your child are met and offer parents peace of mind and security as parents are informed that there is always someone to give a helping hand. As a guardianship company, Eton Guardianship provides parents and students with the highest level of personal and professional guidance. We have a reputation of excellence and integrity in the way we address every student's needs from the first day of their arrival in the UK and throughout their study period. An important part of our job is to find a host family for your child during holiday times when they have to leave school. Our host families are all very carefully chosen, regularly visited and police checked.
Our UK Guardian Network now extends nationwide which covers UK boarding schools in Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Bedford, Cambridge, Norfolk, Leicester, Newcastle, Suffolk, Essex, Oxford, Hertfordshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and London. From all corners of England, our local guardians offer every opportunity for students to enhance their cultural experience. They are warm, friendly and fun-to-be-with and so, students can have a wonderful time - and be successful in their studies too!
